What is NIP?

The National Internship Program (USP) has been launched by the Presidential Human Resources Office to ensure that our young people benefit from the internship opportunities offered by public institutions and private sector organizations within the framework of equal opportunity and in accordance with the principles of merit.

Benefits

Through the program; It is aimed to increase the employability of our young people with a transparent, traceable and innovative evaluation method, to support equal opportunities in accessing career opportunities, and to extend internship opportunities to all departments, not limited to technical departments that require compulsory internship.

Students applying to the program; They are evaluated based on their academic/vocational, artistic/social and sports proficiency scores, taking into account their performance throughout their education life, their efforts to improve their skills and their achievements. Employers, on the other hand, send internship offers to students based on the scores they receive in the relevant competency areas, without seeing their identity information.

In addition to its success at home, the Programme, which is followed with admiration abroad and has been cited as an exemplary practice to member countries twice by the OECD, gives many young people at the beginning of their professional lives the chance to experience business life and direct their career journey while they are still students.
